Meet the Founder
I’m Thuc Ta, the founder of IOVERT, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a graduate of UT Arlington. I am also continuing my education as an MBA student at the UT Austin McCombs DFW Program.
During my eight years in the U.S. Navy, I was stationed overseas in Japan aboard two warships and stateside at a gas turbine shop. I worked with a variety of engineering systems, including diesel engines and gas turbines. This experience allowed me to develop extensive expertise in preventative home care, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and complex mechanical systems. Over time, I advanced into supervisory and leadership roles, where I was responsible for guiding teams and ensuring maintenance was completed safely and effectively. These experiences taught me the importance of organization, planning ahead, and addressing small issues before they become larger problems.
I created IOVERT after realizing how difficult it can be for homeowners to engage in home maintenance planning effectively, keeping track of equipment information, manuals, maintenance schedules, service history, and future replacement needs. My goal is to provide personalized home maintenance solutions that make home maintenance easier to understand, more organized, and less overwhelming, allowing homeowners to feel prepared and confident in caring for their homes.
